Prefabricated Design Systems
Patented modular connections for volumetric buildings that lock from the outside.
01 — The problem
Bolted
Trades enter finished rooms and work corners they can barely reach. The module was complete until someone had to crawl back in to join it.
Welded
Field welding is slow, skilled, and expensive. It puts the cost of development back where prefabrication was meant to take it out.
We lock from the outside. The room stays closed.
02 — The system
Not interior bolts. Not field welds. Modules land complete, lock from the exterior, and keep rising.
01
Every joint is reached from outside the unit. Interiors stay closed, finished, and protected.
02
Load travels from foundation to roof, floor after floor. The building rises as a single system.
03
The connection is designed into the module. The site only has to lock it.
03 — Deployment

Volumetric modules leave the plant complete—structure, envelope, interiors.

Single-truck loads. Site work runs in parallel with the factory.

Crane-lowered onto the stack. Indexed. Aligned.

Exterior fasteners close the joint. The next module can land.
04 — Methodology
Rooms as structural units—apartments, stairs, shafts, corridors—built complete and stacked.
Repeatable assembly-line fabrication. Tighter tolerances than the weather will ever allow.
Factory and foundation move at the same time. The crane is the last mile, not the whole job.
Lock from the outside. No trades back inside finished rooms. No field welds to inflate the job.
05 — Intellectual property
Held and licensed by Prefabricated Design Systems. A family of granted U.S. patents covering the system that secures volumetric modules from an external position.
